It can be so easy to get caught up with the never-ending to-do list, the messy house or whatever else it is you need to do every day, that we forget to stop and appreciate the little luxuries. Whether it’s taking 5 minutes to enjoy a cup of coffee or stopping to admire the view.

Life’s little luxuries include buying fresh flowers for no reason other than they look pretty. Pulling on a soft cashmere jumper and freshly painted nails (preferably red nails).
Lighting your favourite scented candle and snuggling under a blanket on a cold night add a hot chocolate for the perfect Hygge evening. Climbing into bed with fresh clean sheets at the end of the day
Pouring yourself a glass of wine after a long day and taking the time to enjoy every sip. Enjoying a long hot relaxing bath and pampering yourself. Having a lie in on a weekend and not feeling guilty about it.
It’s these little things with help to bring the good into every day. And it’s these little luxuries and treats which I want to celebrate here on Tartan Brunette. I want to share life’s little luxuries with you whether it’s a great new clothing brand, amazing beauty products and all those things in life which make it wonderful.

And if you’re looking for more ways to celebrate the little luxuries then I have a little luxuries board on Pinterest. Which I’ll be updating with everything which brings the good to every day.
I totally agree - I am all about appreciating the simple things in life. I also love Instagram posts that show life’s little luxuries like a cup of coffee or books, they are my absolute favourite!

I love these kinds of posts too and I love that Instagram makes me stop and appreciate the little things
Yes, I totally agree. Really cosy woolly socks to pull on when you get home! Proper leaf tea made in a pot. A spritz of lavender line spray on my pillow.
How could I forget about cosy socks and pillow spray x
Yes I agree it’s the simple things in life.☺️ Great Post
I love taking a step back and having a proper look at life. I’ve actually been writing a lot down in my diary recently, about what I do in a day and how it makes me feel x

Having a diary for the good stuff is a fab idea. I feel much happier and more positive since I started looking at life through the little things instead of doom and gloom events
Slowing down and being more mindful is my game plan for this year. Less negativity. 🙂
I set myself and am continuing to read before bed instead of swiping mindlessly through instagram and also first thing in the morning, either drinking some water or making and finishing a full cup of tea before checking my phone or laptop.
it’s not always easy slowing down with a toddler, but, it’s just little things. 🙂
Am following you on Pinterest now too. 🙂
