Last weekend I was invited along to a bloggers brunch at the Edinburgh’s latest brunch spot Southpour in Newington. As you can imagine a room full of bloggers and tasty food was bound to be a hit. The event coincided with Edinburgh Fashion Week so there were a few of us planning to make a full day of it heading down to the shows after brunch – the perfect way to spend a Sunday.
Southpour has to be one of the most Pinterest-worthy restaurants in Edinburgh, as you can imagine there were cameras flashing all around. All of us loved the exposed brick wall – perfect for a few outfit pics. I particularly loved the lighting and the large windows which made the place so bright (it helped that the sun was shining that morning). Often restaurants are so dark you can’t see your food let alone get a good picture of it. I’m not one to take pictures of food but even I couldn’t help it in here. They are even dog-friendly, although I don’t think my wee monster will be visiting anytime soon – he would run riot. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love seeing cute dogs when I’m having brunch.
yum! this looks amazing, I can't wait to try this place.
