I had a little splurge in MAC the other day and thought I would share my purchases with you.
MAC Plumful – £15.50. This is a lustre finish which is probably my favourite MAC finish as its so moisturising. This is a great shade for this time of year bolder than a nude but not quite a dark bold lip. Great for adding a berry shade to your everyday look. Slightly more subtle than an in your face dark lip.
MAC Melba – £18.50. This is a beautiful dusky coral shade which looks great on all skin tones. I been using it for the last few days and have fallen in love. A little really does go a long way adding just the right amount of colour to my (rather pale) cheeks.
MAC Russian Red – £15.50. This is one of MAC’s cult shades and I have no idea why I didn’t own it already. I picked this up as I love red lips for nights out and wanted one which would last. This lipstick certainly does last really well. It’s a matte finish but unlike a lot of other matte lipsticks isn’t drying on the lips (just remember to use lip balm first). The shade is a classic Hollywood red lip and I think it looks great against my pale skin. Looking forward to rocking this shade on my next night out.
Cherry Lip Pencil – £12.50. I picked this up to go with the Russian Red lipstick, this was suggested as a good match by a few people (including MAC) on Twitter. I have to agree it is a really good match and makes a good pairing with Russian Red.
